Check them out! These were a bit tricky to create but we did it. Customize your HT now! Just visit http://www.stlsegway.com/

More colors available. In fact, metallic blue is going to look really cool.

They are made of high-performance vinyl. Cost: $35 per set of two ($5 shipping) Includes installation instructions.

Wayne will not need to be concerned. They cost $45 each with no instructions about how they are applied. However, they do look good.

Thanks gotseg. I put them on about three weeks ago and designed the template almost 2 1/2 months ago.

I have been checking out the metallic blue and gold, talk about awesome!

The inserts are a bit expensive now because of the type of vinyl used; however, the price will come down as order volume increase.

I'm getting some real good feedback!

Looks good.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the Seg wheels needed improving.
Segway is getting color little by little.

Thank you wayne. I have been so busy working on the Segway News section of stlsegway.com I put the wheel project on hold. The light-bar project is off my radar; seems like someone else has that nailed.

The inserts fit nice in the wheel and aren't too hard to apply. There are a couple of people here in St. Louis who are going to get different colors and I will have them up on the site soon too.

That's much better. From your order page, I thought they were $90/set. Go to your Ordering Page and add "the price is for a set". How thick is the vinyl and how do they stick to the wheels? They do look very nice and appear to be "built-up".

Lohja, thank you for the compliment. The vinyl is of commercial outdoor grade ("all weather" adhesive) used most commonly in signage. The insert is applied directly to the wheel without any type of "build-up". Application is relatively simple.

I'm guessing but is the adhesive the kind that you first apply soapy water so you can precisely position material and then let it dry?

One way..... SEGWAY ! !

Hey Steve. They can be removed with a heat gun (on low temp) or a hair dryer. They really stick on well! I have had mine on for about 2 months without any problems. In fact, I will be changing colors for the fest.
