LA Ticket To Ride: My first HT glide.

Finally had my first ride on an HT, and I am now 100% going to get one. Once I have the 5k. :)

The three owners that showed up were very cool and informative. Thanks guys!

Tracy, the Segway rep that helped us learn the machine, was really super, even though we were the last of many new gliders. Hope to see her again someday soon for my training. :)

(The car accident picture is what almost cost us the chance to glide, as we were stuck in traffic for almost an hour. Not the wreck participants seem concerned.)

Jere, all I got was some audio on the realplayer. Should I be using some other software to open this?

Gosh, Jeremedia, that reminds me so much of my distant past -- almost three months ago! It really brings back the fondness of my own training, helps me to remember that first glide... nice video footage!

And, by the way, you've taken your first glide into a larger world! Get ready for the time of your life!

I changed my .avi association to windows media and it worked perfectly. You guys got up and running really quickly. Looked like a really good ride.

I changed the video to QuickTime for my Mac friends. Still trying to work out the best process of getting video from my digital camera to the web. Original video file was 40mb, current version is 6mb, and doesn't look much more compressed.
