Here’s an idea: factory tours. The manufacturing plant in Bedford, NH should offer tours of the factory for say $5 - $10 per person. They could show how the HTs are produced, and show all the parts inside. They could demo both the e and i series models… and maybe even the p when it is released. I think this would raise even more interest in the Segway if the company offered an in-depth tour of the factory. I know I’d go :)

Thought I heard that when you went for training you got a tour of the factory, or maby that was only for the special people who got their ht's early *pt*? Either way, i think thats a great idea... id pay 15-30$ for an indept tour of the factory, and all the better if it included a look of older beta versions of the segway... *any idea if they made that mono-wheel thing?*

i'm not sure how it works if you take training in nh...but i did get a tour, which was part of the early delivery. there was only two things, where they make the hts and a small room with a handful of prototypes. it's cool, but not fly out to nh spend lots of $ for a quick tour cool...hey, if it all works out, in 5 to 10 years, the first segway plant might be a national landmark and museum.
cheers,
pt

Regular training for customers in the Bedford, NH location did not include a tour.

Derek,
Hmmmm..... $5 - $10 to visit an assembly plant (nothing is really manufactured there) and see components being bolted together with hand tools
or
A free tour, just a few minutes down the road, of a real manufacturing plant. With free samples and a chance to see the famous Clydesdales.

As pt said, maybe in 5-10 years.
