so...
i've seen these on tv...

but the psi doesn't go low enough for our segway ht tires. it would be really cool to have ones with the range of 12 to 22 psi, i'd use them.
cheers,

I agree. That would be way cool.

Neat, but they do stick out too far like the TireFlys. I could never enter the bakery with either product!

Here's my favorite tire monitor (and the one I'm planning on installing in both of my Segways):

The gauge goes on the inside of the tire and you can have the external monitor anywhere (which is lightweight). Add a 12 volt power supply, and you're off and running.
Now, the only problem is how to dismount and remount the Segway tires to install the gauge . . .

P.S.
The SmarTire system reads from 0 to 78 PSI (0 bar to 5.38 bar) -- yes, that is ZERO to 78 PSI. So it should work beautifully in the Segway; if we can just find a nice way to mount a display and provide power with the unit (LLC, is there an "external power port" coming?), we could get an instant OK to ride.
I'm actually a little surprised that a low pressure warning isn't built into the Segway in the first place. It could be reflected in the User Interface easily. Then again, the Segway HT is an awesome manufacturing marvel and even this addition wouldn't make it too much better :)

Sounds like you didn't enter without them :-)
