shipping date ?

When do I get a shipping date? Am I notified by e-mail or does it just arrive by UPS ? Does Segway take ( or do they ask first)the final payment from your credit card ? I have not received any notification from them except the date of the scheduled training session which I completed this past Saturday. Cool machine !Thanks

Larry, Segway will let you know when you will get it in the mail but first you must go thru with the training. Did you do that yet?

Dear Larry,
I was notified by email about 10 days after training and could track the progress of the DHL shipment right to my door. The wait was excruciating, but worth it. Happy gliding!

larry must have got his ht pretty quick, he posted this on 4/1 and i think he's been commuting for about a week now.

I did my traing on 3/29 and I received the unit 9 days later. I have been happily Segwaying for over 10 days. i have already had a defective connector, broke the kickstand and found a few other minor glitches, been busted by the NYC police. Otherwise, it is Grand !
