Greetings, all.
Having just purchased my new Segway, and anxiously awaiting delivery, I find myself a little nervous about the fact that New York City is sitting on the fence regarding whether to regulate, allow, or outright ban the use of Segways on its streets and sidewalks.
I run a public relations firm in NYC, and have a few political ties, as well. I'd be interested in hearing from other NYC Segway users regarding their thoughts on this, and would also be interested in putting together a sub-group (perhaps a Yahoo! mailing list of some sort) to talk about, and possibly act on this issue.
