Paul McCartney Demo Ride

FredKap has demoed a "Sir." Yep, this AM on Rodeo Drive (Beverly Hills) Fred bumped into (figuratively) Sir Paul and taught him how to glide. Paul wanted to know if they were available in the UK. And he's not the only one who wants them there.

Now does this mean a possible re-recording of "Driving Rain" renamed "Gliding Rain?" Dunno.

Peter, you said it well...you bump into the nicest people on Rodeo. It was at about 10 AM...before the stores are open and he was walking with a lady who might be his sister. I explained that he would have to have it delivered here in the states and then shipped to London. He didn't go fast or far but definitely wants one and I don't think the price tag will be a barrier. He asked the normal questions and was aware that mailmen were using them, did a couple turns and that was that. Bev Hills manners are that you don't say anything like "I'm your biggest fan." That gets old real quick. (I guess my secrecy about what part of "West LA" I live in, is blown). Perhaps if LLC reads these posts and later finds out that he bought one, someone will send me a private e-mail.

After that, it was difficult to stop and demo to anyone else.

Well, it's not quite Sir Paul, but Queen Latifah took quite an interest in my Seggy a couple days ago-- but I couldn't interest her in hopping aboard for a test glide. From this point forward, I carry a digital camera with me, always!
