Someone had mentioned that off-road tires can be put on an i2. Can someone post some details on that? I'm guessing I would need a set of wheels and tires. Would I just buy a set of x2 wheels and tires?
Thanks....Ross

You'd need a fair number of parts to turn an i2 into an x2, and have the tires fit under the fenders... Gonna guess that it would be difficult to get them from LLC, for this conversion? The x2 also differs in software (air time limit, etc.), so it's good to keep this in mind as well. I think you only get 3 seconds of airtime on an i2, vs 5 seconds for the x2.
You don't want to be in the air and have your machine turn off on you by the time you land... That would suck.
Most people just get tires that fit the rims that come with the i2. I recommend doing a forum search for tire makes and specs, as this topic has been discussed often in the past.

I priced it for a customer one time and to outfit an i2 with the x2 fenders, bars, and tires was well over $1000. I agree, find the threads regarding a more aggressive tread on an i2.

This was posted by BodyElectric in a previous post. Just wondering what I'd need to do this. It sounds like a simple wheel/tire swap.
================================================== =====
"If I were you I would buy 2 x i2 and a set of turf wheels/tires for each which will bolt right on without you even having to change the fenders, and give you a great ride on dirt, sand etc.
That way you can use both indoors, on pavement etc, but when you need to it is less than 5 mins work to convert them to a wider track, off road type machine.
note that an i2 with xt wheels, or turf tires as described above, is a great ride, but the reverse is not true - if you put i2 wheels on an x2 the machine is excessively slow, especially when riding downhill, to the point where it is almost unusable."

Can any Dealer verify that Turf Tires will fit an i2 without modification or extra parts?
Thanks,
