i2 repair final wrap-up

I sent my i2 in to Inc for repair months ago. It didn't start after being out in a heavy downpour. They decided to replace it under warranty. New machine, new tires, new batteries, and a full year's new warranty starting now.

I want to thank Dave Sinclair and Rich Nutile, both of whom took a genuine interest in getting me back gliding.

During the months I was without, many friends, acquaintances, and total strangers asked where my machine was. I looked so much shorter to them somehow. That felt good.

But what feels the best is to be smiling like Blinky with wind in my face again.

Glad to hear that the good people at Segway took care of you. Those of us who have had to do without our Segs for any period of time know just how you feel to have yours back.

even though dave is a patriots fan, he is an asset to our shop and i am always amused at the directions our conversations take. while he is constantly overworked, he is customer focused, and it is part of what makes him a great inc. connection.

he's a member here, even though he never gets to login. a week or so ago we were talking about chat and he made me promise to get his back if people start riffing on him. i am SO going to let him know tomorrow that he needs to look his name up here to see what someone said about him :)
