Sure did! Just wanted to organize something here that was easier to read/use. It doesn't seem like that many people are using the Map either.

I sometimes ride out to the other side of the harbor from Venice, that way...
Do you ride along the beach there? Most people don't seem to act like they've seen a Segway there before, when I visit.

Hi SEGsby
I commute along the beach, but going South from Marina Del Rey. I don't see many people in the morning, a few joggers, a few bicycle commuters and a few dog walkers. I usually see the same bicycle commuters on the way home, different joggers and dog walkers. However, there are a lot of people settling in around the many fire pits along Dockeiler State Beach in anticipation of the sunset.
My morning commute:
Culver Blvd. Median Bike Path > West to McConnell Ave. > South, to the Ballona Creek Bike Path. > West, to the South Bay Bike Path > South thru Dockeiler State Beach to Grand Ave. > East into El Segundo.
Reversed for my evening commute home. 17+ miles round trip, 4 to 5 days a week.

Yes, I've witnessed the firepit custom they practice over there. Very strange.

I'm here in Long Beach. I have an i2. Always ready to unite and glide with Seggers.
While we are busy uniting here, remember there is a Shady Canyon glide in Orange County on September 26th, starting at 10:00 a.m. We are leaving from Windrow Park, taking the Shady Canyon loop, stopping at Ruby's for lunch, and ending back at Windrow Park. Check the Gatherings post for a Google Earth map.

Don't you mean JULY 26th? As in past tense. Or is there another one planned already?

Not yet. Originally they said today (Friday), then it was delayed until the 7th or 8th. Now they say it might be a few more days. They say a lot of people are buying due to a projected price increase.

What a rotten time to raise prices!!! "It's getting Popular! Lets make it more unobtainable!"
I guess they really don't want the machine to become very popular. *shrugs* LLC's business practices make no sense to me. Price appears to be the single biggest hurdle to attracting new buyers...
Hope you get your seg soon. Hang in there.

I^because^am.
Prices are going up all over, have you priced food lately? I wouldn't expect Inc or the dealers to be exempt from the increased costs that fuel (even though it has gone down at the pump in the last week) have caused for every other industry out there (except maybe the oil companies).

COMFORT MATS... No question. And reasonably comfortable shoes. The commute is between 1 hour and 1 hour 10 minutes one way, dependent upon the cooperation of the walk/don't walk signs. I get more tired sitting at a desk...

Many of us are registered on the Segway Social, but finding people on that site is just not easy. Maybe they've improved it and I hadn't noticed.

Dear John:
When your HB takes a digger, look us up. Spec's knowledge, glide beware pointers with flash pictures. The old school site use to let you twist the handel to see the features.
I have been bumped off the internet more times than I have ever had to open a bandaid for my segway stupidity. Oh Ya why?

I have two Segways... a Red 180 and a White I2. I use it to ride up and down the hill from Mulholland Drive to Hayvenhurst Ave and Ventura Blvd.
