This last saturday, I took my i2 to an outdoor mall. This was my first foray out into the public with the seg. I was astuonded at the positive responses I got from store employees, and just the general shoppers. And to think this was a walking mall. I had my handicapped logo on my leanseat and had no problems. I went to two stores the first of which was an Apple store, and I was just waiting for a reaction to the seg. Finally as I was leaving one employee just said "cool a segway". The second store I went to was an Orvis store, and I delighted in the irony that the Orvis store manager was more interested in the segway than the apple store guy. He was asking all kinds of questions, and when I told him about x2's he just flipped.:D Owning a Segway is great, but what makes it that much better is that it makes other people smile.:cool:
