I have done some research and found some loan programs with very low interest for those with disabilities to get assistive technology. For those with not so perfect credit these lenders look at credit differently. I applied for the one for WI and will update on the status. Just thought this link may help some given as these lenders do define a Segway as assistive technology! Here's the link:

That he was put on Moderation,

I cannot pm and I am on moderation. Surprisingly I cannot even post a happy new year thread on my old account (and seriously happy new year was all it said). Therefore I moved on to another account where I actually have a chance of being a member and contributing. Thanks.

Hmmm, let me see.
Mods put you on moderation Check
You create a new account Check
Mods put your new account on moderation (soon to be Check)
Not making light of your situation, just pointing out the anticipated effect of you identifying yourself .

If this account gets put on moderation to the point where I cannot post anything so be it. I figured before I tried thinking of a new name for myself and creating a new e-mail address I would try a more conservative route. If this gets put on as strict of a mod then that is my next option. I am just hoping I can contribute as myself!

I think Jeremy understands, the way we work here on segwaychat, now.
And he is passionate, and his passion shows very well.
(he reminds me of someone else, who has been put on moderation once or twice)

I made many mistakes in the beginning. I will admit that. Now my focus is on being productive. I may be allowed to be productive on this chat I may not regardless I am working on correcting my previous mistakes and moving on. This thread was created strictly to help those in a common situation. Not a whole lot of money, bad credit, and disabled. I also posted this on DRAFT chat. I think many people can benefit from this link and although I haven't heard of a whole lot of members that need the service I'm sure there are plenty of guests! Regardless I will let you know how the Wisloan program works out.

Right. The right way to deal with a temp-ban is to sit it out. The wrong thing to do is attempt to circumvent it. Most forums would have permanently banned you by now.

Isn't being put on moderation isn't a rite of passage here on SC? 8^) 8^) 8^)
ps - Yup folks, you heard it right. If you're not being put on moderation then you're not "contributing" enough! 8^) 8^) 8^)

OK, I promised an update on teh WisLoan program and so here it is. The board of directors reviewed my proposal and today, yes it is a long process, they came to the decision that my credit, no matter the reasons, was just too bad to extend. I do completely understand their decision and was thankful of their consideration. I do have to say though that they are very nice. Please note, if you are looking for a place that will finance you when others can't the state programs on the link will. My credit score is in the 300's, it is at the extreme. If you are not so extreme and you have been turned down other places this is another option. They help people when others can't and at 6% but you must be disabled and you must be applying for assistive technology! I hope this link in the first thread helps someone, please do let me know if it does. Thanks and have a great day!
