Now i would not take most customers up here with 1 hours experience but these customers would have been disappointed if i had not......some people (normally people that ski) just get it far faster than others.
As you will note at the end i had not got to the point where we climb inclined steps...

Now, I've never been skiing. Do you reckon I'll find it easier because I ride a Segway? :D

I wanna know what happened the next 10 seconds after the video ended!
Did he sort it out or was it, um, exciting?

Good for you Antony. There's too much nannying going on around Segway's these days!:D
We held a corporate event last week in a grassy field, and ended up with two riders getting a little, erm shall we say competetive! If you have ever seen two i2's sliding sideways on slippery grass whilst trying to get around the same corner, on the limiter, then you'll know what I mean.
Our instructor Miranda was saying she's never seen a pair of riders so at home and "into it" so quickly. To give you an idea, we set a track up, and Miranda set a "lap speed" of one minute two seconds (Miranda is a lot lighter and more agile that me, as well as a whole lot prettier!). These two guys set times of 1 minute dead and another of 57 seconds within 5 minutes of getting on. I think there are a lot of people who forget (me included sometimes) just how really intuative the Segway is, as well as being quite forgiving at times.
"Life is not tried, it is merely survived, if your standing outside the fire"
I've quoted it before, but once again hats off and thanks to Garth Brooks for the reminder.

As with anything, pushing the limits is half the fun. However, I like to keep a happy median between benign and insane. Most of the time...:D
