Stupid me was gliding down the Ave today and talking on the Cell phone at the same time ...Being I hear better on the left ear or it's my preference for phones I was using my right hand on the steering grip.Which I'm not to crazy about normally..Well some dame stepped in front of me and not to hit her I tried to turn away from her.. but was too close to the curb and the left wheel dropped off....Funny I never do a face plant always land on my back ..(Two other times) well again down I went, must of twisted my left leg a bit as it's the only thing hurting right now. The head pain went away as did some other places on my body that hit the pavement ...Two cars stopped and the drivers came a running to help..But being the Macho that I am I picked my self up ..picked up the Segway and told them I'm OK.. This women (I use the word loosely) that caused my fall had just continued on her merry way without even a "I'm Sorry" and I know she saw me go down..I don't talk on my phone while driving so now no talking while segging. And all day I wanted to do a post about my glide in the New York Halloween parade last night ...All I can say now is IT WAS GREAT
Guess there was about 8 to 10 Segs in the Parade ... About half way I met up with Itsi and his crew...Macgeek was late and in the end of the parade so I never saw his "MICKY"

Even the best and most experienced Segway users can take a tumble.

I love the questions: "Can you fall off of those things?" "Have you ever fallen off of that?"

And the answer is YES! You can fall off of anything.

Dollar Bill, Hope you recover and are back gliding soon!

I think the lesson to be learned here has less to do about phones than it does about which hand you hold the steering grip with.
