This Halloween I was thinking, a huge rarity, I thought I might turn it around.
In 2004 my daughter was an Angle on the plywood cargo flat for 6 blocks and we scored lots of candy. It’s a great way to keep an eye on the little one.
In 2005 I was wrapped in gauze and was the mummy. Howling at the kids and dropping parent's jaws. Horse as a goat the next morning.
In 2006 I was penne-siren with a head set amp entertaining myself and the clients that I cared for, at the door.
In 2007 I was friken, sicken and itch in for something new. I piled up all the busted 'GenGen', pellet guns, batteries, camera mounts, plumbing parts, old wires, and had an epiphany.
I live in an isolated uphill grade home and when you have the lights off you can’t see, but your voice travels for miles. This year I’m packing up a gaggle of new for a 10 mile glide through the East Side, West Side, North and South Side’s of my favorite sidewalks.
This year this glide goes out to all the parents who in the middle of the week forgo the worst night of television to get out with the kids and bang on a neighbors door.
So if you’re in the hood check out the treats on the coffee Segway. Where do you drop the stir stick?
