Segways in Music Video

This (http://video.music.yahoo.com/up/music/music/?rn=1301797&vid=39781404) may not be your kind of music (it's not really mine either) but I saw it while I was out and noticed a couple of brief scenes with Segways. Gen1's by the look of them. The first is about 1/3 of the way in, and the second is about 3/4 of the way in.

Actually, two of our regulars were in the OK GO music video. But I'll let them come forward and identify themselves. Based on what I've heard, there was alot more segway footage that unfortunately ended up on the editting room floor.

ps - Can someone explain why music with titles like "Do what you want" and "Cmon" have segways in it? Are segways becoming the symbol of "independent thinking and making decisions for yourself"?

I'm closest to the backdrop...

For this video, the band wanted clips of people doing what they want/like to do.

The song is definitely a statement of independent thinking. And having segways in the video is probably a result of the band members having ridden my seg at a family bbq before they put this video together.

Well, now that our two intrepid regulars have stepped forward, I'll add one last thing. There is a third segway in the OK GO video. I know that glider too. You won't be surprised to hear....he plays polo too!
