JonathanIsn't that just the accessory bar?Sure looks that way to me.http://www.segway.com/individual/models/accessories.php (http://www.segway.com/individual/models/accessories.php)http://www.segway.com/img/content/accessories/accessory-bar-kit.jpg (http://www.segway.com/img/content/accessories/accessory-bar-kit-lg.jpg)
Accessory Bar Kit

The accessory bar attaches to the handlebar, providing plenty of space to mount lights, reflective labels, and other aftermarket equipment. Simple to install, it's also adjustable, so you can angle it just the way you like.

Available now

Adjust ItI'm sure Jonathan is preoccupied with the outcome of Baron's convalescence in NH (http://forums.segwaychat.com/showthread.php?t=16710). Just considering those i2 accessories, or has the insurance company made a decision?

That is the accessory bar with the warning sticker still on it, same as I have on my i2

As there is nothing on the handlebar anymore to guard.

It is to mount accessories on. And it is lots of fun to mount on a new handlebar too!

If I owned an i2 I would probably turn the guard to face me and then use it as a one-handed handlebar.

A accessory bar, is just a accessory bar

Sorry for my lack of knowledge of i2 products!

Well of course you can be sorry if you don't have one - but for Jon that is never an issue! ;-)

What you may lack on the new fangled stuff - you sure make up in other ways!

If I owned an i2 I would probably turn the guard to face me and then use it as a one-handed handlebar.I glide with one hand 90% of the time but wouldn't have the accessory bar facing me. It would cause a serious injury in the event of a an accident.

I also glide single-handed many times, and pulled my accessory bar facing up (not facing me). It works nicely. I used to have my headlight on it, but the mounting on the light keeps breaking.
