Gas Prices

Just saw on GMA a gas station in California that had gas at $4.29 a gallon for high test.

All I gotta say is this should certainly help the Segway sales <G>. I can't imagine paying over $100 a tank of gas, and using 4 tanks a month, if you have a larger car. Wow!

My last two fill ups have cost me $40+ for regular gas. And it's getting worse by the day. Today is my first 'real' Segway ride. One done instead of taking the car, rather than just for the fun of it.

I'm hoping the rain stays away!

My neighbor owners a Texaco self-service station.
He says that he only makes $.05 per gallon.
Believe it or not.
I don't.
Starting next week (when my Seg gets here) his sales to me will go down a little.

This is why all those "first Segway in our city" interviews should emphasize the true cost (purchase, depreciation, gas, oil, maintenance, tires, etc...) of cars. That $4,950 price tag for an i-series HT doesn't look too bad in comparison. High prices for gas can only help Segway sales!
