I was wondering if there are any other X2 owners in the Portland metro area. I am not yet an owner (plan to purchase an X2 golf in a month or so).

Michael, I sent you a private message. Please join us for glides around Portland.

A massive group glide occurred in Vancouver, Washington, yesterday. Jerry, Nelda, and I met for lunch then explored the Vancouver river walk. Okay, maybe not all that massive, but three is a start.

Darn, sounds like we missed the Vancouver glide a couple weeks ago. I'd love to be on your email list.

Hey Nelda! Thanks for the invite to the Macy's pre-parade!

Hey all, my partner and I just got our segways in the last few weeks. We live in NE Portland and would love to go on a group glide (maybe the rain will take a break sometime soon!). I've messaged with Nelda, she and her husband certainly seem "game" when not travelling. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if some other folks in the area on SC are watching.

Okey, it isn't Portland but it's a start. The Annual Beach-to-Chowder Run/Glide is scheduled for June 21st. It usually starts around 9:00. Last year I wimped out at the last minute and it rained so only two Segways actually made the glide. This year I promise no more hip replacements and blue skies. That said, hopefully we can get 10 to 12 gliders.

FYI - The federal budget provided around $200,000 for completing the paving of the (Lewis & Clark) Discovery Trail from Seaview south to Baird's Hollow then over the isthmus into Ilwaco finishing at the condor statue at the Port of Ilwaco. Start marking calendars.

Excellent Suzined! I've never been to Ilwaco which is even better. Keep me posted on details as it approaches! Chowder sounds good now!

Thanks!
