Well, after playing some Wii at a friend's housewarming party, we had to have one! Now that we have one, I wanted to extend our "network" of Wii friends (which is currently zero)...

So, I was wondering how many of you have a Wii, and for those of you that do (and is connected to the internet via WiiConnect24), why don't we share our Wii codes, so that we can interact...

Here's ours to start:

P.S. For those of you who have one and aren't familiar with the Wii Code, it can be found in your Wii Messageboard menu > create a message > Addressbook. When we all register each other's Wiis our consoles form a kind of network where "Miis" can interact, messages sent and more. Since I haven't yet experienced this aspect of the Wii, I thought I'd start the initiative here.

Note that to fully interact I'd have to register your Wii code into my machine, and you'd have to register my Wii code into yours, (if it is one or the other alone) it won't work.

Here's mine:

My Wii is offline at the moment, sadly. My fraternity house just switched to a new internet provider, and not only is it unbearably slow (If I wanted, I could pay 15 dollars a month to have my connection bumped from 512 kilobits to 1.5 megabits, the same connection I got like 10 years ago when broadband first started catching on), but apparently every device attatched to the network has to go through a landing page where you agree to terms of service and such, and there's no way to access that on the Wii, or my 360. Any networking gurus care to help me out here? I'm running an Airport Extreme router and I've tried reconfiguring it, but all I get are double NAT errors.

Apparently there is a time limit for editing an original message, but I found a bit of a workaround for the time being. We haven't yet shut off our original internet provider, so I'm using that network for my Wii. Anyway, I've got it online and I added you to my address book, hope you've got the Mii traveling feature on, hope to see some good ones soon.

Thanks! I'm going to add your number to my Wii right away, and all our/and our friends' (who come over) Miis have the traveling feature!

Does the Wii let you see which of your friends are online and playing games? Does it let you chat with your buddies? From what I remember the wiimote has a microphone in it, but I could be totally wrong.
