What a Guy bought dinner for all of Us..Kudo's to Jon...Even tho we ate under umbrellas it was a fun night except for when we went back to the Tavern-On-the Green parking lot..The parking valet must of backed my truck in and hit a post with the duel haulers and bent it up abit.:mad:.And then had the B--ls to denied it and say it was that way when we arrived..Stan and I had to jury rig the two Sgway's (My XT & Stans I167) into the back of the Pick-up truck to get back home ..Thank you segwayBill for helping..Next time will have to remove the haulers and place then in the back of the truck..Or ask to park the vehicle myself:rolleyes:

Hi Guys,

My son, nephew and I went to Sheep Meadow Cafe on August 3. We had a good time, but the waiter advised that the meet was cancelled due to rain. I asked him where it was raining...just a joke..

The only person that I called was Itzi. I should have contacted someone else, but I didn't. I actually spoke to "David" as he glided down Park Avenue the night before. He knew about the meet, but said he wasn't attending...???

We don't glide, yet, but were intending to talk to those that do and get a better idea. There's none of this in my home area (SW of Philly) and we are attempting to spark interest. Just contacted the Bethlehem dealer and he's gonna get back to me...

Hi all. I am the guy who showed up in Sheep Meadow sans Segway to meet you all. My Segway finally arrived but as I suspected, there were no keys. I contacted customer support and was able to purchase a set for $79. They arrived yesterday but unfortunately I am in Boston. (Yesterday I saw a cop glide by) I am comming home tomorrow and can't wait to go for my first glide. I had a great time at dinner in spite of the rain. Thank you Jonathan for the levity and picking up the tab. I look forward to future dinners with the group and meeting more Gliders.
