Every so often I look at the post count,
See who the most active people are on here. its interesting info
and it tells me alot about the site

I used to look at the stats like posts per day, but those really don't tell anyone much. It's basically an average post/day count, that doesn't really reflect true posting habits. Will is right though, Broo doesn't really post anymore.

I post on occasion, but most of my SC activities have become back end activities, as I assume Pam's are as well.

But those post count numbers are daunting. Three thousand or so things to say for some of us. Geez.

That's one more for me, FWIW.

As to the list of people ordered by rep, you have to get to page 2 before you see the people who EARNED their rep. All those folks on page 1 were gifted their rep (and for good reason might I add).

Here is where you and I do not agree. I clearly do not live my life based on what other people on this forum think about me. That is actually fairly low on my priority list...

If this was a popularity contest, I surely would not be a contender. I do not feel that popularity and quality are the same thing.

I am an honest man. I say it as I see it. I do have some reputation points, but that is a corrupt system, where supporters cannot give points to people they know, if when deserved, yet administrators who can manipulate the system are all maxed out.

I am also a conservative traditional person in my politics. I am or at least have been very outspoken about that. This has made me the target of many vicious and hateful attacks that have not been moderated, or have been unfairly moderated. I have also been verbally assulted on several occations.

I am also a bit of a hot head. I don't like being attacked, and have been on a short fuse in the past. To misquote a famous guy, "If you prick me, do I not bleed?", well, my first inclination is not to bleed, but to hit back. THat has caused me to be moderated several times, while my attacker has free reign to slander away.

So there you have it. I talk too much. I hold people accountable for what they say, and many people want to worm out of that, and are upset when I do not let them...

I also do not share the political convictions of the majority of more active posters here.

And, I am clear that it does not mean a hill of beans to me...

If any of us lived our lives based on what people think on this fourm, we would all be either in the mental ward, or on suicide watch. Our skin has to be tough in the world of Segway Enthusiasts, I think we have all learned that from year one.

Sorry you took the reputation points as an negative in your box. I was only comparing Jon's and mine, since he seemed to be so interested in the site's stats.... Thought I would try to take the thread in another direction.

Though I personally thought the thread was just another random Jon stalking Karl sitituation, and I was thinking that you were playing it cool not to comment.
