NorCal July 22 Morning Glide

Downtown San Jose glide on Sunday July 22nd. We will tour the Guadalupe River Park and Gardens (http://www.grpg.org/)

After the glide we will tour the Tech Museum.

Please let me know if you can attend.

Perhaps some of our SoCal friends would like a change of scenery.

Meet at 10am Sunday at Discovery Museum park. I'll bring donuts

In October how about doing 17 mile drive in Monterey/Carmel

You may want to toss out Napa as a possible destination if you want to draw SoCal folks up here. I'm sure more than a few gliders drink wine, though I'm not sure how we'd handle the chase car logistics. What time of year would be best for this?

Sounds good to me...you might want to announce this on bayareaseg [At)yahoogr0ups (D.t| com and making sure to substitute in the right symbols and change the zer to an o.

Another possible destination up here might be Lake Tahoe. Also there's a new segway dealer in Santa Cruz who might want to get involved in the Carmel glide. I'd refer them to Segway of Long Beach to find out if it's "worth it". Otherwise you spend more time convincing them of this fact.

Plans on the July 22nd NorCal glide are progressing. If you will be attending please let me know...

When: Sunday July 22, 10 am
Where: Children's Discovery Museum on Woz way
Breakfast: Bagels, Donuts, Coffee & OJ will be provided
Glide: Guadeloupe River Trail
Polo: Pickup Match at McEnery park after the glide, people that aren't interested in polo (are there any?) could visit the Tech Museum
Lunch: Amici's Pizza after Polo (Dutch Treat)
Travel: The best way to get there is via light rail.
Parking: Plenty of parking at the Discovery Museam.
