That's a lot of raw data (extrapolated from historic sources) and I seriously doubt most people can even fathom what some of those numbers mean.

There is no . . . context.

So many of the numbers have a kind of visceral, negative feel to them, especially when you look a tthe bottom half of the display, but when you look at the overall population of the planet, it's STILL going up. So what are they saying? That population is bad, but reducing the population is worse? Or is this somehow supposed to be an indicator of overall suffering on the planet? If so, then what the heck does the number of bicycles and computers produced have to do with anything?

While I maintain that all information is useful, I'm very confused by the purpose of this display.
