Pretty common internet usage. Although, you're also correct in that I could have made that a bit more easy to understand. I assumed people would figure it out via context. GTG can also commonly mean, Good to Go or Got to Go, with context being the determining factor.

(If you prefer the longer answer with details...historically, the best turn out has been at polo matches and they use to be the second Saturday of every month. Talk to cmonkey since he's got alot of the polo gear AND a nice new bag to carry it all in!)

I was responding to the title, and not the body.

By the way, by using all caps, it seem as three separate words. If it was to indicate two words, I would have used GTg.

So be it. I am not good at contractions. I don't know how being familiar with texting shortcuts indicates for either of us our command of the language of English...

I will say, I do not speak text well. Never have. Don't even understand half of the faces... :) and the like...

So, I consider myself appropriately embarrassed in not being as proficient at some of the languages used here on this forum, but stand by the statement that I am reasonable in English, but that all that is typed here is not english...
