Amazingly, this has been on Craigslist in the Bay Area for almost a week. From the look of it, the seller isn't interested in shipping and wants local pick up. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/spo/349889150.html

I have no idea if the seller is reputable. If you're interested in this you need to contact them directly and do whatever "due diligence" you feel is necessary so you aren't scammed and lose all your money. While I may have called attention to this, I want to point out that I'm not offering to help out with shipping nor evaluation. I'm just passing on a good tip.

ps - If you're smart, you'll assume the batteries have not been reconditioned. So you MIGHT end up having to buy a replacement set. Also, the wiring might be Hypertronics.

Just to let folks know, I emailed the seller asking if I could stop by in person, pay and pick it up. I'm not really interested in buying it, but I thought I should at least vet this seller for others. I got the below response:

The shortness of the response along with the newly added dimension of an international sale tells me this is likely a scam. So I did a Craigslist search on the email address, and I found dozens of high price item for sale at bargain basement prices. It's clearly a scam.

If a moderator wants to delete this whole thread, please do so.

ps - I wonder how well the scammers will do in Craigslist where 90% of all sales are local?
