I had bought a new pair for "Junior" (I167 my girlfriend used to ride), but have recently sold "Junior" (he had new Ni-Mh batteries at the time) and the buyer did not need/want the Li-Ion's. Luckily I still have my girlfriend, she is now riding an I2. These batteries are brand new, never been used. I will probably open the box and install them and make sure they charge and function correctly before sending them out to someone-to avoid any suprises.
They are Gen 1 (I167,I170,I180,XT) and Gen 2 (I2,X2) compatable. Maybe someone needs to upgrade from Ni-MH, or wishes to have a second/spare set. There is nothing like going from 10 mile to 22-24 mile range and not having to worry about "massaging" (dis-charging completely before re-charging) as you are supposed to to with the older Ni-Mh batteries.
Everyone probably knows a new set from a dealer runs around $1,600 or so. I am asking around $1,200. or the best offer I get in a reasonable amount of time. If I like it, they go. Shipping will probably run around $15.00. Hopefully this helps someone out who was going to do it anyway but was having a hard time with choking up the 1600...

Be aware that these batteries are HAZ Mat when shipping. So it may be difficult to just ship them. You can't just take them to UPS of FedEx. It's best to find a local buyer and avoid all the problems.

Thanks David, you are right. I do have a friend that works for a shipping company that is haz mat certified to handle the Li shipping. That is if they don't go to someone local. ::)

hopefully they are gen2 lions since gen 1 will not work with i2 unless upgraded.

Thanks for the input from those who care. And yes they are GEN 2 batteries, as I already stated, they are Gen 1 and Gen 2 compatable. They are Rev. AF. They can be used on a I series (I167/170/180) if someone has had their units software upgraded (per the recent recall on the old software). And also on I2/X2's. If one is not sure you can tell by the shutdown face on the display when you turn it off, or look under the mat for the round yellow sticker that should have been placed on it when upgraded by a dealer or the factory (Inc.).
