I had bought a new pair for "Junior" (I167 my girlfriend used to ride), but have recently sold "Junior" (he had new Ni-Mh batteries at the time) and the buyer did not need/want the Li-Ion's. Luckily I still have my girlfriend, she is now riding an I2. These batteries are brand new, never been used. I will probably open the box and install them and make sure they charge and function correctly before sending them out to someone-to avoid any suprises.
They are Gen 1 (I167,I170,I180,XT) and Gen 2 (I2,X2) compatable. Maybe someone needs to upgrade from Ni-MH, or wishes to have a second/spare set. There is nothing like going from 10 mile to 22-24 mile range and not having to worry about "massaging" (dis-charging completely before re-charging) as you are supposed to to with the older Ni-Mh batteries.
Everyone probably knows a new set from a dealer runs around $1,600 or so. I am asking around $1,200. or the best offer I get in a reasonable amount of time. If I like it, they go. Shipping will probably run around $15.00. Hopefully this helps someone out who was going to do it anyway but was having a hard time with choking up the 1600...
