View Full Version : Red-Button Handlebars
Hi,
I'm looking for a working red button (hypertronics) handlebar or CS. If anyone has one they'd be willing to sell, drop me a PM.
Thanks!

Antony, if you meant it for re-wiring an Elcon handlebar... that cable isn't sufficient, as is has only one connector... somehow the yellow plug is missing! Odd, really...

You also ask for handlebars or CSB. They are sort of different. If you need handlebars a CSB won't help too much, and well, vice versa. Why is it you need either one and not one or the other?

I asked for a CS (Control Shaft), not a CSB.

Pardon me, I stand corrected. The question remains. What exactly are you looking for? I guess that is a better way of asking my question. Since you clearly state a "CS" I have one of those. Or will have when it is delivered. It is a black one. No red buttons on it. Or cables or handlebars. Just a CS. (Not CSB)
Tough crowd, huh?

Thanks . . . I guess I was not being clear.
My hypertronics (red button) handlebar failed (the electronics inside). So I need a working handlebar (including wires). See the picture below.
So if anyone has a handlebar (attached to the control shaft, or not), that's what I'm looking for.

Aha! Now we know and can hopefully help you. Wow I like that bar! Cool.
Handlebars are a little hard to find because they break. New ones are $379 to $499 depending. (Inc quoted me the $499 figure but dealers say $379) You do not need the CS. (Or CSB. Ha Ha)
Now how/why do you think it is the handlebar electronics that failed? Did your dealer diagnose it for you? I know people who have fixed bad handlebars but it ain't for the faint of heart.
Hope someone will pipe up and has a good set.
Marty
