Rest in peace, Mr. Wizard. Don Herbert 1917-2007

Hi guys. I'm pretty sad right now. I just found out that Don Herbert (Mr. Wizard) died on tuesday. I don't even know what to say really, so I'll quote someone from another forum I visit.

Some guys remember that special gym teacher, who taught them to act like big lugnuts.
Others remember screaming drill sergeants.
A few even remember the crazy wino who would buy them a six pack of beer in exchange for one of the cans.
Lots of people have made men out of boys.

But it was Mr. Wizard who made us nerds.

He is sorely missed.

Mr. Wizard was a big influence to me - partly why I am in my career in fact. I was sad to see this. Rest in Peace Mr. Hebert, and thanks for teaching my how to make a cloud chamber for my 8th grade science project.
