Hi All,

I just had to share my first "Segway moment" with everyone.

Tomorrow marks my wife and my one week anniversary with our two new i2s. This afternoon around lunch time I began thinking of where I wanted to eat. Togos for a sandwich sounded good, but my local strip mall is a nightmare around lunch, parking almost nonexistent. Ah, but that was my pre-Segway days!

I simply phoned up Togos, gave my order and hopped on my i2 for the pleasant ride to the mall. Sure enough, I entered the strip mall to be met by utter gridlock. Smile on my face I safely made my way on the walkway to the restaurant. The line was clear out the door. I glided up to the take-out window and got my lunch, never having to dismount. By the time I had payed for my lunch, I had gathered quite a crowd asking what I was on, how fast does it go, what does it cost and how the heck does it work!

I answered all the questions I could, dropped my sandwich in my handlebar bag and I was off. All this in less time than to find a parking spot! It was at that glorious moment that I truly realized that our new Segways are life-changing!

What a great experience!

Awesome!

I just tried to get food at 2 am at my local Del Taco's 24 hour drive thru last weekend.

The Seg wasn't able to trip the magnetic sensor for the mic (too far forward), so I ordered at the window and got a Macho Chicken Burrito. Mmmm!

The In and Out drive thru worked better, but I was able to get food both times.

Glad your 'Segsperiment' was a successful one. :)

Congrats as well. We don't have those chains of restaurants here, but wouldn't he be an empowered Togo-strian?

We used to have a Togo here in Lowell, it did not make it.

I use Seggy in the market, I am taking it to Church this morning, up the WC ramp and I will park it in the hall.

Don't you just love those Segway Moments?
