After playing phone tag, at least 7-8 calls between us yesterday untill we finally connected (if one can truely connect to "Crash"). He settled down long enough to speak rather incoherently (but with much enthusiasm) about his new job at Segwaybythebay.com. Our friend in now a free range Segway salesman and teaches,demos, and assembles i2's everyday in his home town of Arroyo Grande, Ca. One of my calls to him yesterday afternoon caught him demoing inside an Italian restaurant to 2 beuatiful blondes, spinning in circles when he answeared his phone - "Can't talk now, my boss is yelling on the other line!" Eventually late last night, we caught up with each other. He has a pretty neat deal going. He is spearheading a new dealership as the only "embedded" Segway expert they have. Business is booming and he is a full convert to Gen2 machines and their capabilities. His last words to me were "Hurry up and send me those spiked Gladiators, I'm goalie for my polo team!" Sometimes there IS a method to Tony's madness. Good luck with the new job buddy!
