Now that the i2's have been out for a while and most of the accessorys (except stand) are currently available, what are the most popular options?
Mine has the commuter package plus the accessory bar I purchased yesterday and in black it looks pretty good stock. I have an order in for the stand and I think it will be complete at that point.
BTW, the ugly "warning" sticker on the accessory bar peels off nice and clean, no problem.

Mine is dressed to the left, but that might be a tyre pressure problem!
Serioulsy, mine is bare as the day it was born. Barer even as i removed the "Danger" sticker. Soon though, it will be dressed in its commuter outfit + the lower cargo frame + light.

A Segway I-2 bag in Black, a Nite Rider MiNewt headlight a Nite Rider Stinger Tail light, Segway I-2 comfort foot pads and a Segway Lock, that is about it!
Now in my bag, I carry I-2 and X2 Info cards, some Segnation pens, a DC Bike Map, a bottle of Costco water and what ever else ends up there (also the lock and a double headed power cord are in the bag.
Now yesterday when one of the new DRAFT Awardees (one who has a black I-2) said mine was different - it had the bag the mats - he thought it felt different riding it, and he loved all the lights. (glad I did not put the police siren on it or the whole luncheon would have been very noisy!)

I just added the i2 Comfort pads plus a red reflector tape on the back of the platform and a silver reflector tape on the front. More to be added later as the stock market recovers! RAY-NER

There is a handle bar bag on each side ($40 each) mounted on $6 of lawn sprinkler plastic pipe, a $10 Space Bar on the handle bar for my RINO 530 gps/gmrs/frs radio, a Creative Labs speaker set velcro strapped to the handle bar to play my cheesy MP3 player, and an $18 1 watt head lamp velcro strapped to the bottom of the Leansteer shaft. I did get nice led tailights. Also a $6 bicycle mirror and a Walmart drink holder. Comfort mats cut from $3 rubber welcome mats from the Dollar Store.
Can you spell cheap bast**d?

Now that sounds like something we'd all like to see. Can you post photos?

Actually, I've seen cheap Bast**ds before. I would like to see a photo of the seg, however...

When I first saw the title of this thread, I could not help but think about the wording...
How does cruiter "dress" his seg...
I pictured him like those little old ladies that make clothes for their dogs. Dress them up in outfits that match their own...
I was thinking about how we need to get cruiter a friend, if he is making clothes for his seg...
In reading this thread, however, it appears he may not have gone that far around the bend... yet.
(I really should not have to say this, but this whole post was in jest. No one should take offense, and it is perfectly fine to dress your dog and make clothes for the pets and objects you own, if you like...)

Here's one we outfitted for a customer. "It's our Texas Ranch Edition"
Before anyone asks, it does not have an option for a rocket launcher.

I am familiar with the ease in determining the gender of puppies, and know of the technical difficulties of determining gender of some birds, and I will not even get in mice and various rodentia, but just precisely which skirt must one lift and look beneath to determine the gender of their seg?

No that is as male a Segway as you can get. Though I know a couple of girls up the block that would make that machine look sissy!

Once you ride one, it kinda let's you know it's gender!

Now that's a Texas steed. And "his" package definately denotes "him" as male. Well done. The green box holds ice and a bottle of Tequila, right :). What every Texas Gentleman Rancher needs !!!Here's one we outfitted for a customer. "It's our Texas Ranch Edition"

When I purchased my i2 a week ago, they had to order the quick release, accessory bar and lock for me. I received them yesterday, and I had to make a choice on if I wanted the quick release or the lock. :( I am upset I can't have both. So far I love the Segway, :D and when it gets a bit warmer in a few days will be on it again. We received 10 inches of snow yesterday.

Don't think of it as a problem. I can't find anything good to say about the LeanSteer Frame quick release (nothing, nada, mafi haga...and I could go on).
So, stick to the lock.

Ditto; I tried the quick release and like Steve, found it worthless. But now the bag does carry my cable lock. One of those things you may never know if it was worth the effort unless you come back to where your Seg WAS because you didn't use it !

If you were able to put the quick release on and the lock what would you have? A quick way to take the lock off and a missing Segway.

Not possible, you can only use one or the other. I don't plan on taking the LSF on or off on a regular basis, so the lock post won out. I gave the quick release back to Scott for anyone that wanted it. If you want it, check with Scott at Segway of Alpharetta, GA and see if he still has it. It's his to do what ever he wants with it.
