Unfortunately I can't post the actual video as it is copyrighted material, but the latest promo being shown on the BBC for its sports coverage shows a cameraman with a Steadycam rig on a Segway following a Golf game
Now this isn't too much of a shock as this seems like a very good idea, the BBC used to use Citroen cars with their hydopneumatic suspension so as not to give a jerky picture when filming horse races, but the odd thing was that it looked like a Gen1 machine, but with no handlebars. Instead it appeared to be controlled by a short stem with two paddles which connected to the cameraman's calf muscles.
Any ideas where this comes from? Looks too old to be from the platform project. Does this ring a bell with anyone?
