That's great fun - tried it once or twice. The hardest thing I found was stopping and getting up - what a laugh!

I noticed everyone was leaning forward alot to accelerate while sitting on the mat. Has anyone experimented with different amounts of weight in their 12.0 bag while they attempt this? I'd be even more interested in information about rigs that let you hang up to 20 pounds at various points along the control shaft while sit-gliding is attempted.

Maybe the real solution is to string some line from the top of the control shaft down to where your feet are hanging, since holding your legs 6 inches above the ground looks really tough! As a disclaimer I should say that if you attempt this and break your plastic handlebars or have a terrible crash, don't come crying to me. Sit-gliding is a risky activity!

Children should not play under power lines....

So I suppose it is OK for Segways and adults to do it....

So where were the adults in that video?

you just shouldn't fly kites under them:D

As a matter of fact.... we played under them a few weeks ago whe the lightning storms rolled through.

power lines and their towers make nice lighting rods.

As for the adults.... they were taking pictures and video. They wish they had a big enough trampoline for us too.

Hmm. Makes me wonder if that's why the center charging / display console in the middle of the new i2 platform is so freakin' big; to discourage potentially unsafe riding styles?

Good point. Its only a matter of time before someones legs get tangled up or broken after jamming their foot into the ground aftera big bump or something. Although it looks like fun. Maybe a somewhat large spokeless wheel mounted to you shoes that sits between both feet would help. :)
