I hate the handlebars.

Specifically, I don't like how they are a straight bar, although the design looks like it will support bars of many different shapes, I think the new bars look completely stupid. When you hold on to them you are forced to turn your palms downward instead of inward. With you palms downward you look like a dog begging for a treat. I'm still begging for a ride on a PT to be certain, but I had to pipe up with that little thing which is irking me.

As the new handlebars appear to clamp on like bicycle bars, and have no electronics, you could always replace them with any bike bars of suitable diameter. How about drop handlebars from a racing bike for a go faster low drag stance???

Or perhaps some chrome ape-hangers!

That "Dog Begging" line made me fall of my chair! I was thinking the same thing. Then, I went out for a Glide, and a Mosquito flew in my Left Ear. I took my hand off the handlebar so quickly, and I was already close to the left shoulder (we have little traveled streets, and they are BUMPY!), I nearly face planted.

I was thinking "DANG, I could have really used that LeanSteer!"

Since there are absolutely no electronics in the new handlebars, it will make it sooo much easier to customize your segway. Literally ANYTHING can be mounted in place of the provided handlebars. You could mount something as simple as a broomstick or as fancy and complicated as your imagination can dream up.
