Why is it that the photos Segway uses for the website/press materials make the people using their products look so stiff and, frankly, kind of stupid looking? Is it just me, or do the people in these photos just look un-cool? In my opinion riding can be dynamic and athletic looking. Why can't Segway seem to convey that in their materials?

Also, what do you think of the new slogan, "Simply Moving?"

Although I like "simply moving," I liked "Get Moving" better... but market research probably felt that "simply moving" was softer to some degree.

As far as stiffness... I don't know... maybe we all look like that when gliding? he he he

Seriously though, are the people in the catalog... all models (including Mr. Hopper) he he he... Or are they INC employees?

I agree with you partially... especially the commuter guy on the right side of the first pic looks... funny. I believe most of them are Segway employees.

Regarding the slogan... as long as it is not tweaked into "Simply Mowing"... :D

Think that maybe the reason is is because it's a still picture?

Segways look a little funny in still pictures. You need to see the dynamic motion.

I like the slogan...

Moving on a PT is simple; so it is simply moving...

Gliding on a PT is a moving experience. Who among us has not gotten and seen that segway smile? so the experience is simply a moving one...

As for the pictures... Mostly all of them are employees...

I don't know if I would want to critque them... I, myself, am not a dork, but I play one on tv occationally, and on this forum often... Does that mean my dorkyness shows up in my photos? I don't know.

Maybe this machine is made by a whole company of dorks. It is possible, but I would not say it is so. I can imagine just about anyone that has more than one photogragh taken, will find some better than others...

I would like to see some photo's of those casting stones before I buy into that one. One man's "stupid looking" is another man's "cool!"

I will not comment on the guy that is kneeling next to his machine... He is cool by anyone's account.

I just want to go on record complaining about something. Feel free to insert any topic here and assume I would complain about it. That'll make me feel better.
