Are the wheels tilting with the lean?
I think it looks that way only because the riders are leaning to the left, and it's compressing the left tire.
I don't think there's any change in the platform
IMHO

It may look like because of the odd perspective (low position of the camera) and/or the type of lens used (fisheye?).

The wall in the background has straight lines which appear straight in the photo, so no fisheye lens.
On the left side of the photo, the distant man is more in focus than the close man, yet Dean is also in focus.
The slow shutter speed effect on the wheel inserts doesn't make sense for the rotation of a wheel.
All this leads me to believe the photo was digitally altered to purposely disguise the appearance of the new Segways.
The close rider on the left looks like he has twisted the top of the control column(s).

The perspective of the pic was altered - if this is reversed, the vertical line on the left and the wheel is perpendicular. Of course the horizontal lines are not affected.

But it is nevertheless clearly visible that they ride the new models, especially on the right side. And there IS a bag attachment even with LeanSteer! :)

Good observation Joe!
It also looks like Dean was added to the picture of the riders. The cutout of Dean fails just below his crotch, blocking the pavement in the background with black.

It also looks like Dean was added to the picture of the riders.

Correction: Maybe not. Six Segways in picture, one right behind Dean, and at least one of them an i167/i170. Even knowing what we're looking at now, it's still hard to tell exactly what's depicted. Now that is good security :)
