"Today Portland's City Council approved the resolution related to enhanced security and public access to Water Bureau facilities. Security Manager Dave Austin and Property and Public Resource Manager Tom Klutz made statements on the goals of the proposals, provided background information, and responded to questions from Mayor Tom Potter. Security Specialists Chad Withrow and Debbie Swisher came to Council on bike and Segway transporter to illustrate the capabilities of staff at the open reservoirs. (No, Commissioner Leonard has not had a chance to try out the Segway...)"
