I Survived

hi everyone,

I made it through.
Marcy and I just got home an hour ago from the hospital, following my surgery marathon. It was`actually slightly over 17 hours; the first 16 weren't too bad, but that last hour knocked the crap outta me!

feeling VERY sore, lots of bandages over many,many more stiches, but;
-I'm alive
-I'm home
-the cancer I left with two weeks ago didn't come home with me
-I love my wife, and she says I'm still "Purty"
-I WILL feel better, fairly soon

As a cancer family survivor, my heartfelt congrats to you and Marcy. As I'm sure you know, you still have a long road to hoe BUT you have come a long way.

I'm here, I'm with you, and I'm thinking of you. Take care of yourself, get a glide in when you are up to it, and, remember that there are many of us out here rooting for you!
