I have seen on some sites lists of calaries burned while riding a bike,swimming ,walking ,running,sitting . has anybody done a test on a segway . it may not be as good as walking, but its got to be better then sitting watching tv.Non segway believers will try to use this against us . saying were just to lazy .I know iam getting a lot of hassels from my friends ,saying i should stick with my mountain bike ,at least iam getting some excersise.even my wife is on my case.:eek:

You definately burn more calories with nickel batteries dragging Ginger home after all the bars disappear. Especially if you live at the top of a hill.

Notice for a 155 lb person, walking at 3.0 mph you burn 302 calories in 1 hour , Sitting-playing with child(ren)-light you burn 216 calories per hr. Gliding should be in between there somewhere.

Riding the waves off of Maui (Surfing) burns 237 Calories per hour according to my BalanceLog software.
