As I pass them by the woman bends down to her granddaughter and says... "see that thing? my friends son invented it"

I was stopped by a man today.

He told me he saw a Segway sometime back when visiting the US. He was there when it was launched. He saw the inventor!

He told me that the inventor is Jewish, in fact both of the inventors are :D
