Hello Everyone,

So it appears spring is finally starting to make itself known in New England, and that means the time is right for Segway Polo. Last year it was to late to get a team together, however if we start organizing early enough- we could definitely plan some games for this coming summer.

Please reply if you live in New England and are interested!

matt,
shouldn't you be getting ready for school at 6:30 instead of posting on segway chat....anyway you know that i will be down for this.

I live in West Lebanon up by the Connecticut River Valley (Upper Valley). I would definitely be into that. I played once last year at the SegFesT.

Count me in...it will be a little scary as I am used to horses...but what the hell? I'll give it a shot!

The game can be played well with 4 vs. 4

Does anyone want to shoot for a "practice game" on Friday May 5th or Saturday May 6th? We can use veteran's park in manchester, its in the heart of downtown manchester... litteraly steps away from a bunch of bars and reasturants.

We could play for a bit then head over to JW Hills and grab a bite.

Let me know if you are interested. Please try to draft some more people if you can!

Hey Matt,
If you can get a pic of your group and send it to me, I'll post it on our Segway HT Polo web site. I'm trying to use this as a central source of info for polo teams.

I could probably do the Saturday in Manchester on the 6th, but not Friday.

MattK,

Count me in for Segway Polo! I was the one who started the original thread last year.

I just got back on SC after the recent changes. I haven't been on the forums in a while.

Hey all,

When would be a good time to meet up there Saturday? Anytime around 12 or so is good for me.

I've sent a message to SegwayBoston.

I'm surprised Karl hasn't said anything about this.

Are we still on for May 6th? Does somebody have mallets? I went to home depot to find PVC piping to make one from instructions that I found, but they didn't have what I needed.

Is everyone still on for this afternoon? Did anyone have any luck with mallets? I tried finding something "as-is" but no luck. No time to make them.
