What's the fastest way to get new LION batteries and get upgrade? The closest (I think) dealer never responds. It would be a real pain to box and ship the Seg up to NH, get computer upgrade, shipped back, and get some "local" dealer (like maybe 105 miles away) to sell me batteries. I'm in SE PA. Thanks.

There is no fast and cheap on upgrades, that I know of. It took me 3 weeks in the shop, plus it took a couple of weeks to get a box down here so I could ship my HT to the mothership. (and an extra $200 for the upgrade, plus shipping on the batteries, but I just didn't want to wait!)

I'd suggest looking into the buy and sell forum, where I think Jared is mentioning a visit by the INC personnel to do upgrades in the new future, and he has batteries in stock. A trip to Ohio might be in your future!

no such thing as cheap, fast or easy my friend. The upgrade has to be done either at the factory,or on specific dates and times with Segwa reps in a dealership.
Right now, dealers do not have the ability to ungrade independantly, and are not likely to have this capability soon.

Seriously, box up the power platform only (no tires, handlebar or batteries - you can even remove the gearboxes if you want) and UPS it to me by Wednesday afternoon. I'm doing another software upgrade and it'll be free with Li-Ions (in stock).
