View Full Version : A grave move

Thought of another potential market for using Segway's. I don't know if it has been considered before, but how about selling them to the people who look after graveyards / cemetaries? It's an extension to the park ranger kind of idea, but with some graveyards as large as they are, and with the proven reports of how kind seg wheels are to turf, it sounds like an excellent job for a Li-ion equipped machine with ET tyres.

Lots of graveyards are hilly too. Some saddle bags (the lower cargo system) would easily carry any tools required.

Just a thought!

INC may have to include an extra hour of training for this new type of corporate customer. If you're an employee at the cemetary using this new kind of transportation, riding past an ongoing funeral with a huge grin on your face is probably not considered "professional".

I can see the title for this portion of the class..."Wiping that silly grin off your face so as not to bewilder the customers".

The dead center of town, a great place for those dying to see a Segway.

I'm actually looking at a new tour that will glide through a 100+ year old, very historic cemetary as part of the tour route...
