The weather in Minnesota is finally getting into the 50's so I have done lot's of practice gliding the last few days. The used 167 I bought hadn't been ridden since last fall but was plugged in all the time and stored indoors so I wasn't sure of the condition of the batteries.

Saturday afternoon I rode it for about an hour and then left it in balance to drain. The batteries seemed to go down fairly quickly while gliding and I was a bit nervous. What I had hoped was a newer battery went 17 hours on balance mode before finally shutting down. I was very impressed, and extremely pleased!!

After using the hints read here I recharged it, and noticed a significant performance increase in the batteries. The gentle rocking of the glide makes for a very relaxing ride. Now I can't wait to get home and get some exercise after work. (I do workout at the therapy pool for 2/12 to 3 hours per week in addition)

I have arthritis in both knees and was hesitant at first about buying, and not knowing if I could comfortably glide. After a few days of taking on curb cutouts, bumpy side walks, rough streets, and a branch brushing my head gear I'm hooked. I definitely see the positive need for the headgear!!

I did invest in the padded mat and it was well worth the money spent. It definitely helps to tame the bumps. I bought the side carriers from Kemp's (a very nice gentleman to deal with) which look great and installed in a few minutes. I still have to put on my spinners. Now if my handlebar guards will only get here!! Not as fancy as some out there but I'm pleased with it.

The wife can't complain, as I've been working OT to pimp my ride!!

Next year I plan to upgrade to the 180 with the lithium-ion batteries!! I'm hooked, and I love it!!
