Last July at the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca US MOTO GP races, on Saturday, I rode my Segway down the steepest, roughest trail from the top of The Corkscrew to the Paddock through a rock concert-packed crowd. Many friends who were there said it was a sight to see, with hundreds of the thousands of spectators standing up to get a better look at "this crazy mofo" in his high, hard 'Aspen" collar, permanent left wrist cast/brace and permanent carbon-fiber left leg brace [of course wearing a Giro helmet] gliding smoothly and problem free down this steep trail.
That was me, and I have not been able to find any link to a picture taken of this stunt ride.
Can anyone help?
I've got pix of me [pre-disabled] wining my class in my Abarth at an SCCA race at Laguna and of me on my first Ducati leading friends down The Corkscrew at a track day. I'd love to have a pic of this Segway ride if anyone has a clue as to where I can find one.
Thanks, Dave Laing, aka AbarthDave dlaing1@comcast.net; dblnv@aol.com.
