Good evening!

As you may have read recently, I'm looking for a Segway for my mother - she is disabled with MS and my family knows she'd greatly benefit from a Segway. I own a web development firm in Pennsylvania, Web Design GT (http://www.webdesigngt.com) and am interested in a trade for a used Segway.

I know there are a lot of Segway dealers and other various professionals on this forum, and I had a "great awakening" tonight that someone may be able to use a new website design, re-design of an existing website, e-commerce purchasing capability, search engine optimization, graphic design, and/or various other consulting services.

So, do you have a Segway that you'd consider trading for these services?

As you can see from our portfolio (http://www.webdesigngt.com/portfolio.htm), we're an established company and we've landed contracts with $10 million venture capitalist funds, the government, and Fortune 300 companies.

Trading away 1 Segway would give you a permanent, professional website presence to sell more future Segways or other various products/services!

If you're interested, please reply to this post or contact me directly at lundy@webdesigngt.com or toll-free (888) WEB-GT44. Thanks!

-Steve Lundy

I have an HT i167 which might fit what you are seeking. (I did notice on the other post that you were specifically looking for a P model - it is a little lighter but the i167 is by far the sturdiest and most problem free Segway made.)

This one is one of the earliest versions - I received delivery of mine in May, 2003 - used it for a week end college reunion and then used in three times a week to go one mile for physical rehabilition. The rehab didn't work and after nearly a year in and out of hospitals I finally had my right leg amputated.

We have a mom and pop financial advisory service specializing in advising credit unions on the purchase of Certificates of Deposit.

I have been working at putting together the things I want on a web page - and am at the point where I need professionlal help to bring it all together and get it on the web.

I don't know if this would fit, but if you have any thoughts you can email me at cdbroker@hotmail.com or call me at 760-632-7371.

Thanks for the reply Terence, and it was great to speak with you on the phone. I do believe we will be able to work something out.

If anyone else is interested, I'd still love to hear from you. It'd be great to have 2 for my mother, or to be able to give 1 to my father so he can ride with her.

I just wanted to post a follow-up to this transaction. All has gone very well, and I received the working i167 HT yesterday (perfect timing for Mother's Day).

Today, I have completed Terry's website, which can be seen here: http://www.cdrateadvisor.com. What a wonderful benefit for each party!

If anyone else is interested in trading a Segway HT for website services, I would encourage you to please contact me.

Actually, there was a dynamic PHP/database application created as well so Terry could edit his CD Rates from any computer with an internet connection and wouldn't have to invest in web design or FTP software, let alone learn how to use them. In addition, Graphic Design and Search Engine Optimization work was done on the site. Every page is XHTML 1.0 compliant.
