The handlebar guards are on slow release, I just recieved one in that was back ordered months ago. They should be rolling out on a regular basis soon. I have to tell you, it is a nice product. 200.00 is a significant investment, but it will save your handlebar if you take a spill. It is nice for mounting other objects, headlights, horns, ect. As far as new Segway products go, this one just became of of my favorites, it ranks up there with the comfort mat!

I am taking orders, if anyone is interested.

If the guard screws onto the mounts under the handlebar, where does the GPS screw onto? I take it you can still use a 12.0 bag, and see the lcd screen!!

Along for the Glide.

The GPS mount to the front of the bar itself, but it doesn't use the screws under the handlebar, it has its own mounting system

I don't know if I'll buy the bars, but i saw them up close and they are a fine looking product.

I would recomend them if you want to clamp stuff on your seg. TONS of options with these bars.

And with the mount on the CS they will truly protect the bars in a fall.

I made a similar set-up but is "horse & buggy" crude compared to the Seg bars.

Your 12.0 bags wil fit perfect.

Visited Brian at Segway of Cleveland today-very impressed with his store and on hand inventory. While there I purchased a handle bar guard, 2 comfort mats, and a GPS mount. Really enjoyed dealing with Brian-very personable guy. If I need anything else will definitely stop back. Thanks Brian.

I bought a GPS with Segway mount from Brian at Segway of Cleveland on eBay.

It was great to deal with someone who communicates well, ships fast, and even with that great service, had a fantastic price.

It took about 5 minutes to mount the GPS, and now when someone on the street says "How fast does that thing go?" I can switch to the GPS trip screen and tell them! (Yesterday's trip I maxed at 10.3 mph)

Thanks all for your support, but I reget to inform you that Segway is in a current backorder situation. They estimate orders will start flowing again in about 2 weeks, so get the orders in for spring!

Thanks Brian.....
We must have gotten your last couple handlebar guards. Waiting patiently for them to arrive. Can't wait to have my new 25.0 bag, also.
As always, you're the best :-)

The GPS mounts to the screws under the control shaft, not to the guard (unless youre rolling your own)

The handlebar guard does not use those screws, it has a collar which goes around the CS.
