I've bought 2 PERFECT Segs off ebay. No problem, both sellers with no history. Most I paid was $2200.00 w/ 12.0 for a 167 still in shrink wrap.

Just need to know what to ask. Question # 1) Can I pick up, ask even if your 2000 miles away the seller does'nt know where you are. any no for the answer then move on.

Rule of thumb, avoid overseas auctions. They have a bad track record.

I go one step further...I like to torment these scam artist. I ask, "Can I pay cash and pick up to avoid shipping costs?"

That gets them salavating! Then with that one little sentence they go into gyrations sending me several emails trying to convince me to pay in some other way and offering to pay the shipping. They waste some time sending out emails and I get the satisfaction of knowing I slowed them down a little bit in their crime spree.

ps - I suggest that you use a junk email account if you want to try this too.
