The new i180 page on Segway.com says that inserts and fenders are currently available in the red, yellow and midnight blue, and gives a link to the accessories page. But they're not listed there. Has anyone heard anything about them? More premature advertising?

I ordered extra collored inserts and fenders back when I wanted to paint mine for a parade I did and still wanted orriginal colors. I think I paid about 100 US for a set up 2 splash guards and 10 wheel inserts. Dont know about the actual fenders. . .

Wheel inserts and splash guards costing $100? Is it just me, or is that expensive? $99 for the fenders sounds much more reasonable - value for money. More for your money at least.

To segue, or not to segue, that is the question.

So they're making the wheel inserts and splash guards in the new colors now. I can't imagine that there will be much interest in them, especially at that price. But what if they offered the i170-style fenders in the new colors, either solid color or with just the trim part colored? Considering the number of people who've said they don't like the i180-style fenders, I'll bet they'd sell a bunch. Show of hands? (Mine's up.)
